A cac put me on a few years ago when it came to taking advantage of these rewards. These folks would buy aged shell companies with good credit and history already attached. Use those companies to open up reward and cash back credit cards. Use the cards to the max buying money orders. Use the money orders to pay off the cards in full. Continue to cycle and get higher credit limits, free travel, free cash on cash back, etc.
:ohhh: The scale is on something else.

So they use entire companies the way a normal person uses a single credit card:wow:

Yeah I have an LLC that I have most of my cards on
You can hold a balance in them and it won’t report to your personal credit as long as you pay on time
Best cards for this are chase and Amex imo

where did you register your LLC?

Do you need a EIN to get a credit card for your LLC?

Are you the registrant for your LLC or did you pay a company?

what other benefits can you gain from having an LLC?

I didn’t realize you can buy money orders with credit, but you can buy visa gift cards, and you used to be able to liquidate them on Amazon payments, and transfer to your bank account. I’m not sure if that is still allowed now. But a white guy put me on too.

:manny:

Also, keep the cash back in a high yield savings account to earn interest on top of your free money. That’s how people with big money function. They keep enough in their checking to pay bills, and keep the rest in savings to build interest.

And don’t forget to shop online using the credit card shopping portals, or MyPoints, or Ebates. I use MyPoints, and get PayPal deposits. You can choose gift cards, and United miles, but I always go for the PayPal.

You can print your grocery coupons from My Points, and they give one point per coupon printed and 10 points per coupon redeemed, and sometimes 25 points for redeemed coupons. At most grocery stores, you can use a paper coupon ON TOP of the digital coupon you download on the mobile app.

:mjlit:
If you’re into travel, it helps to stick with one hotel chain, and build up points for free rooms. IHG had a promotion a few years ago where you write your name, address, and the number of a MasterCard on an index card, and mail them in separate envelopes to them. You could mail up to 250 I think. Then you got emails with prizes, mostly in points. I got enough points for 4 free nights at Holiday Inn Express, or 2 free nights at a higher end IHG hotel. That doesn’t seem like a big deal, but if you like traveling, you know the hotel should just be for sleeping, and putting your belongings. Holiday Inn Express is decent enough depending on the area. You have to keep up with the travel bloggers. They tell you how to earn points and miles, and about promotions.

I used to be really broke, so I have broke boy PTSD, and started saving out of necessity, and now I just like hoarding money, and hate paying full price for anything. And yes, I’ll use a coupon at a restaurant. I don’t care if it’s a date.

:unimpressed:

And if you REALLY want to hustle, volunteer to pay for your group’s meal at the restaurant, and ask who is paying cash. Let them give you the cash, and you put their food on your card to earn even more rewards, because restaurants pay higher cash back. My friends and family already know the deal.

Hustle backwards brehs....

"As you can see, a few money order providers accept credit cards. However, credit card issuer rules dictate that all process this type of transaction as a cash advance. As a result, you’ll trigger an expensive fee (3.29% on average), and a high interest rate (20.34% on average) will immediately apply to the amount of the cash advance. Fees and APRs differ by credit card issuer, but are almost always expensive, so we do not recommend funding a money order with a credit card if you can avoid it."

Registered it in PA using legal zoom
I’m the registrant
LLC can hold stocks and other assets which make it easier to transfer them to other people when you die
Yeah you need an EIN but it’s easy to get one once you create the LLC
I don’t know all the benefits I just have it for my stocks and advertising side business. I know that write offs are the biggest one.
I can write off vacation and my internet bill as long as I provide a good reason

LOL You mail a payment in.

Lol I hear y'all. To be honest I don't have a lot of experience with money orders, so I didn't think about that

When ts started thread I googled and saw an article discussing how you need to have a local branch and build relationships with the teller because of the red tape with banks and depositing money orders since it's so much fraud associated with money orders, banks are wary. That's why I asked about the cash advance fees and being physically present in the bank

Paying credit card bills with money orders — The Free-quent Flyer

We do the regular cash back hustle

3% on gas
6% on groceries
5% amazon prime
2% everything else

Wife is authorized user on the 3 cards we use and we charge as many purchases we can on them.

That accumulates like $1000 a year

No I have an accountant do those because it’s complicated. For one thing tax dates are based of the end of fiscal year you set when you form it so you have to be on top of that. For example my end fiscal year is December 31st so the LLC still has to file for this year. I’m not an expert on this side though so I would talk to an accountant.
Another thing is you want someone to go over the things you’re trying to write off so they’ll help you understand if you can.
This is a pretty good guide on buying stocks with an LLC. It’s similar to individual but there’s more paperwork to go through
