28% financing on a whip that costs $6000? (With a KBB value of $4500?!?)

This shyt only happens to nikkas who ditched during algebra class. STAY IN SCHOOL.

Nah, this happened to my GF's friend too except he wasn't in a rush or dire situation. Dude is supposed to be a finance major and got a loan on a fukkin Saturn Vue for 17%. The guy has no concept of TMV because he doesn't go to class.

when you're working poor or just poor and you need a car you get fukked like that. if you have a good credit score you can take out a small loan with low interest rates and get a car you can afford but once your credit is fukked up you basically don't have any good options.

the only real option for somebody who's lower income with messed up credit is to be sold a car they can't afford at ridiculous interest rates. this is the reason buy here pay here lots exist in the first place.

it seems like poor people should be allowed to finance low cost cars at low rates so they can afford it but it plays out the opposite way. worse yet when the car that person is financing breaks down they usually don't even have the money to get it fixed.

2 years ( carfax is clean and car runs good thus far) but lease is up in Jan.... Im going to be moving back in with my sister. I'll save close to 400 to 500/month and I'm getting my income tax money and dumping that shyt straight onto it. Hopefully I'll get FA next yr for school and that will help tremendously.

I play....played in december and all my #'s were off my 1 number breh :dwillhuh: my fam was trippin about that one

They are on of the few buy here lots that do...

still considering but I'm going to try to make it out here before I fully commit. Once I'm in, I plan on staying for 20 years so that's why I'm out here trying to do the thing before that point. I'll contact recruiter soon.

3.5 to 5.5

Stop it.

Although the threat level is high he could realistically get in and never deploy. Depending on his speciality code or m.o.s., the OP could do 20 years and never deploy. I've seen E-9's right sleeve dry and no go speed badges i.e. airborne, air assault, pathfinder etc.

If this guy did anything in medical, outside of combat medic, even when he deployed he'd be inside a hospital. And there is no such thing as peacetime. America is always in wartime.

Breh that guy was fckuing navy eod. That school alone is like a 14 months long and requires a top secret clearance. Do you think OP is going to pass a school like EOD and qualify for a top secret?

Again he could pick something like radiology tech or lab specialist and work in a hospital. He could do a one year tour in Korea, then hop into a unit that's not on rotation. Dude is on year 4 already. I know so many personally who have never deployed. At year 7 or E-6 you go to the school-house or put in for recruiter or drill. That's more time not deployed. It depends on your job breh. Stop letting your cook friends tell you about the sniper rounds they took in kabul.

And the reason I'm telling dude to join is simply because shh aint happening for him out there. That's the reality. He is the working poor so it's only a matter of time before he's in this situation again. He's 27, bad credit, temp jobs, little to no college, no kids though and no criminal background. The military would be good for him. There's no need to struggle when he could get a decent pay and make a decent living. No he won't be balling. Yes he will work long hours and do some things he doesn't want to.

But he will have free health care, tuition assistance for college(4500) a year and he can learn a trade. It's a win for his situation.:manny:

You would've arguably been better off spending a G and buying a hooptie privately. Next time look at a newer car, believe it or not you may be able to get financing on it, even if you take out a loan through a bank or credit union. But I can't beat you up too badly, you needed a car and did what you had to.
