So today my mom asks me to go pick up her purchases in some store and be back yesterday, what are you still here for, go, go, go, go, and I'm like fine. I get to the damn mall and take the elevator, alone. 
The thing inches up agonizingly, does a stupid creaking shrieking noise like a dying cat being sodomized by a crackhead and all the lights go out. So I turn on my phone for a little light and ring the emergency button, wait a beat, ring again. No answer.
Then the elevator starts freefalling the fukk down with a screech and I'm about to go full Solange on that bytch, hitting the door, shouting, screaming and beating at the walls
So a guy talks to me on the emergency phone in that fukking robot voice, ma'am will you please stay calm, and I scream back higher than Mariah that if I end up dead, my family's gonna sue the shyt out of them.
Then the damn elevator FINALLY jerks into a stop, bobbing up and down beyond the bloody richter scale and now that someone knows I'm stuck, I calm down and start begging to be let out since I ain't got all day, I'm a woman on a mission.
But apparently the elevator is caught between floors so they can't just open the door already, no, I got to sit down in a corner and stay there waiting forever, and every once in a while the elevator jerks up and down and I'm like HOLD THAT THING.
Eventually the door opens and that shyt is STILL between floors so I gotta jump and there's a distinctly honestly? sized gap in there.
So I jump and get out, then I look down at my phone and it says MOM (16 MISSED CALLS) and I'm sooooo fukked because I was supposed to be back an hour ago.
