Had one of the best days ive ever worked yesterday. Everything went smooth, had a good staff, good weather, made some extra cash dropping off some tile. Day was smooth af until i got off work and called my gf.

She told me she was pretty much fired as soon as she tried to clock in to work. Apparently her manager had her training her replacement.

Even worse we had a vacation lined up on November 3rd. 4 night stay in Orlando that i probably gotta cancel since i may have to help her out financial wise.

Sorry for your girl. Hope she get another job.

same thing happened to my old manager. Thats why when you train someone, you dont show them all you know.

Were you splitting everything on the trip?

I was covering the whole trip but its a just in case thing with me.

If by some reason she don't manage to find a new job by the 3rd i wouldn't feel the most comfortable knowing im spending over a grand just to come back home and have to pay all the bills as well.

Rather just push the date back in that case. And when she does get a job which will hopefully be soon just go for a December or January trip than.

I lived with a girl who lost her job then went on vacation without a job and was actively turning down job offers. Yeah I cancelled that relationship soon as she came back from vacation.



Had her mother paying her bills and her name was on the lease so I was good. Treated her like a roommate for a few months. I was fukking hoes outside the crib and coming home drunk late.
