Edge/Cena, if Edge and Cena put on MOTYC-level matches every time they went out. The matches are always nothing less than fantastic and the overarching storyline of New Japan torchbearer vs. Up and coming young ace is an interesting one, but they've been going at it almost non-stop for THREE YEARS now. 7 huge matchups in three years. In a three-year timeframe from the 1991 G1 Climax to the 1994 G1 Climax, Keiji Mutoh and Masahiro Chono only had 4 matches against one another. Everyone hoped for a long reprieve when Tanahashi said he wouldn't challenge for the belt again, but that ended up not happening.

They just need new dance partners, really. Give both guys fresh opponents for a couple of years and people will be dying to see these two fight again (worked for Okada/Nakamura and, to a lesser extent, for Tanahashi/Nakamura).

This show was incredible. A couple of my friends and I watched the replay last night and holy shyt brehs. It's funny because on any normal PPV you'd see in the states something like Suzuki and Sakuraba would probably be match of the night or close to it (and it was great, stiff as fukk, the selling :ohlawd:

) but on Wrestle Kingdom 9 it is one of the many great matches.

The last two matches intercontinental with Mr. Swag and the IWGP heavyweight were flat out classics. :wow:

Nope, Brock was complete and utter garbage in New Japan. I actually hated him before he had the classic against Cena at Extreme Rules 2012 because of all the damaged he caused New Japan.

I read Brock's book over the summer and just :snoop:

at the way he did New Japan and his justification of why he did it

He felt he was lied to about the $ so he was gonna hold the IWGP title hostage even though he ignores NJPW keeping his name hot before he went to UFC. He expected to do big business cause he was a WWE star and he knew of NJPW's money issues prior to going in

Brock's is that dude but there's no justifying that one
