There’s so much going on breh, I won’t even know where to start.

But the major thing pissing people off rn is, the fact Nana Addo is hell bent on building a 350 million dollar cathedral, in spite of everything going on. Says it’s a promise he made to God

They’re blaming EVERYTHING on COVID and Russia. It got to the point where the Russian embassy had to step in and call them out on their bullshyt

This is what police did to someone at the demonstration

This sounds like a losing argument in Africa tho. I've been to Numerous nations out there in east, west, and north Africa. (Haven't had the opportunity to go south yet) and the locals are always astounded at the fact that I claim no set.

It seems culturally unthinkable that a black person would be neither a Christian, nor a Muslim and still be functional in society. I know we joke a lot about the guy, but I think Umar did a news segment with one of the Kenyan news networks about Pan-Africanism and the newscaster nervously changed the topic (almost ending the entire interview) when Umar called them out on their over religious-osity

I suspect this is going to be similar to the Arab Spring in like 2011. Wheat prices went up, mostly due to Western market manipulation, and pre-existing tensions accelerated as well. Spooky hours folks, this is going to be global.

Ghana is not the barometer of what happens globally. Yes, spooky times. But not for this reason.
