Military tech is about capital investment, research & technical know-how.

Countries like Ghana & Nigeria are an intellectual property with people from there either as migrants or direct descendants working at high places in a lot the companies that build military tech.

They don’t need Americans (a lot of those building American military tech aren’t Americans, they’re educated migrants from other countries) & Russians. The government just need to invest in the industry & entice those in diaspora to come back. And within 10-20years they’d get a lot of things done.

Defense industry is actually the one tech sector that is by design mostly American run. You can't get a clearance if you're not American citizen which is required to work on all that stuff.

It would be very dumb for a country to have non citizens design it's military equipment if they can afford to do it themselves.

But countries like the US, UK, France, Canada & Germany do fast-track a lot of special talents with citizenship, especially scientists.

There’s a Russian scientist that’s part of the Russian hypersonic research team that the US just gave citizenship & moved to the US recently. One of the brains behind the UK’s modern nuclear deterrent is a Pakistani scientist. And one of the most innovative people in the US drone industry is a Nigerian professor.

It happens all the time with people who are classified as special talents.

When your military has a population of about 15k - that’s not a proper military.

Ghanaian navy has only 4 small Cold War era patrol boats & the Air Force has only one Super Tucano as its premier fighter jet.

That’s not a proper military.

15,000 seems to be doing a fine job protecting the territorial integrity of Ghana and the lives of Ghanaians.

Well when I was saying that I was speaking on black Americans and Africans in Europe
They would really be the only ones that could help, I don’t see anybody else helping African countries in terms of military
