Me and my parents were all born in Ghana but my mom is half Nigerian(half Yoruba and half Dagomba) and spent a good amount of her childhood in Abuja before coming back to Accra during her teenage years.

Even Ghanaians themselves are shocked when I tell them I'm Ghanaian. That is until I switch up to Twi or Ewe.
