Nobody mocking no one who likes Wayne the nikka was getting compared to GOAT’s and consistently put in GOAT conversations. And it wasn’t that Wayne would just say stream of consciousness rap. The nikka dead would say some extremely simplistic or straight up Wack ass shyt and people would act like shyt was fire. But overall Wayne gets more love than hate. Y’all are really trying to use this thread to 1. shyt on Ghostface and diminish this album’s legendary status. And 2. Get their NYC hate rocks off. “If the south did this, if the south did that..” Comparing Ghostface to fukking Young Thug of all people. That shyt is disgusting cause there’s no comparison on an emcee level even if u removed them 3 or 4 songs from Ghosts discog. shyt them songs in question are classic tracks. U wouldn’t have gotten The Blueprint and a bunch of shyt after if it wasn’t for this album so u nikka need to chill out.
Lol u proving my point

Guess what u tell someone u don’t know wtf u be saying will do that lol

most definitely to people who felt they were made crazy for not understanding his music
Bro. It’s like 3 songs. Do u know how many albums and songs Ghost has. And like it said. If u listen and get past all the slang of the songs mentioned especially Nutmeg, u can follow it it’s not complete and utter nonsense.

The man put out music that he didn’t know wtf he was talking about. That’s disrespectful to the culture imo

Although I'm not the biggest fan of that style, I can appreciate that ghost has those type of songs in his catalogue. Makes him that much greater as an MC, that he can flips so many styles. Are people forgetting that along with doing gibberish raps dude also has some of the best and most vivid storytelling tracks EVER? Dude should never be compared to Wayne or Yung Thug lol

It's the way of the internet. Why let common sense and objective reasoning stand in the way of a good biased argument?

Ghostface penned a couple of songs on an unforgettably classic album that consisted of him just stringing random words and thoughts together that rhymed. Hence him, his crew, and this album are void of consideration of any accolades. He is 100% on equal footing with Young Thug, every mumble rapper ever, and his fans have no credibility in critiquing any form of music anymore.

Sounds reasonable and not at all coming from a level of insecurity to me. :yeshrug:

Minority Opinion
What is Wayne better at when it comes to rapping than Ghostface? He ain’t a better storyteller. He don’t use more words. He doesn’t convey emotion on a track better. Content wise they bout even. He honestly don’t even got better albums if u wanna be real. He has bigger albums and he’s more influential overall. But we can’t deny the impact Ghost directly had on the early 2000s from Kanye to Just Blaze to Jay Z to Dipset to AZ etc etc.

Might be all true. But in reality Wayne is the better of the 2 to majority and not just Wayne stans
