If I were to hazard a guess, there'll be an update to the PS4 version that adds save exporting, and you'll launch that version, export your save, launch the PS5 version, import, and then you can delete the PS4 version.

I'm fukking confused. I already have a digital copy GOT on PS4. In PS store, PS4 GOT Director's Cut version you get $19 dollar for upgrade but only on PS4. PS5 GOT Director's CUT version you get $69.99. So are you telling me that I can't play PS5 version unless I buy the full price?.
Nah, they're just waiting until the 20th to give the option for a PS5 upgrade. I'm not sure if you have to buy the PS4 DC and then the extra PS5 charge, or if they'll have a direct PS4 regular to PS5 DC edition upgrade. Kinda convoluted IMO

if you have the PS4 version of the game you can order the PS4 version of the director’s cut now for $19.99 and then pay $10 for the PS5 upgrade on friday OR you can just wait til friday to buy the PS5 version of the director’s cut AND the upgrade for $29.99

Ultimately I don’t care for me it’s simple, 30 dollars on launch for ps5 version of the game with dlc but Sony needlessly makes this shyt way more complicated than it has any right to be.
If they are gonna keep doing these definitive edition with dlc and upgrades they need a better system. People want to be able to preload this shyt
