Yea. The story is kinda lacking this time.Atsu is definitely a boring character but the first game is closer to an Ubi game than this one

later on, they get a trio of saito thugs with dogs to hunt you down. These 3 hunters are like boss fights in that they are strong and the quickfire weapons stop working on them after a few uses. The Kitsune nikkas in the trees in the snow region with that all white on lookin like White Ranger![]()
They still do with heavy arrowsThey buffed the bears. In GoT, one headshot would kill it. In Yotei, if you don't have a scorch bomb, you're screwed.
I'm on the Kitsune boss fight right now. I had to go in to work, so I'll have to wait to beat him
Same. Definitely harder than Hard on Sushi, and I'm having a great time. I actually have to lean forward on the couch sometimes. I don't play lethal because I normally don't go for the hardest setting on most games.Yeah this shyt is a bit more difficult. That one fight where you're in that cave fighting that Saito thug with the Matsumae guy just watching you catch a fair one was kinda tough lol. I'm playing on hard though, the combat is just right for me.
You just have to double tap with the first bow. Two shots to the dome drops em.They buffed the bears. In GoT, one headshot would kill it. In Yotei, if you don't have a scorch bomb, you're screwed.

The side quests in this is MUCH better. LIke, they almost all feel like they're just part of the main story even though they're not, and they're spread out over the world so sometimes you just run into things and it ends up being a side quest. I haven't felt any repetition or boredom from them. Most people playing you'll see online that they're several hours in and haven't really done much of the main story yet because the exploration/content is so good.So how much different is Yotei from Tsushima in regards to side quests and the story? Are they more or less repetitive? Have they improved on those aspects? How's the open world in regards to being lively?
I think it’s like every other Sony sequel this gen where combat, world and side quests are much better. Story is subjective so I will let you come up with your own opinion. A lot of us are not even 30% done with it so hard to judge this story with the last game. It feels like I'm playing a AAA cinematic Elden Ring/BOTW game. The open world has random encounters, nooks and crannies to explore, areas of interest and lots of things that catch your attention. It's not like Assassin's Creed where you open the map and there's like 500 icons on the map and you don't know where to go first.
I like this WAY more than Tsushima which I thought was great but the open world wasn't really interesting besides some nice visuals. I just mainly powered through the story and left a lot of side content open. In this though, I'm about 12 hours in and I've been mainly doing side stuff because it's just fun.

I really appreciate how the Batman vision is gone.
Being able to see through walls has really ruined stealth in modern games.

I think this game will be contender for one of the best games of the generation. The combat is also. The sound effects when you slash a nikka in a standoff with the wolf is
