Best way to play, imo. The enemies can kill you in one to three strikes depending on your health, but you're also just as deadly. Definitely prevented the combat from growing stale for me in subsequent playthroughs. In NG+ they even had a Lethal+ option which made the enemies even more aggressive and the timing for parries even more narrow while keeping the combat tweaks.

I hate how so many developers think increased difficulty means making enemy sponges and the player a sheet of wet paper. GoT & TLOU's Grounded difficulty both got it right. Wish other devs would do the same.

Exact bruh!

No damage sponge bs and they can go out just as quickly as we can. No 10 hit combos happening, best to be efficient. Kept it fresh and feeling cinematic.
