As long as he plays Rick Moranis' character, I'm not worried.

If he's like the Venkman of this shyt, then :camby:.

But that's what I'm thinking, because he's a "Name" they're probably gonna give him the lead unless they cast a bigger actor later.

Jews.

Og ghostbusters is classic mainly because of the cast obviously bill Murray is the gawd and propells it to legendary heights. These remakes and reboots don't have the right people in place to pull off what they trying to do.

It can work but its a looooooongshot. trailer needs to be :wow:

Doesn't Murray hate doing sequels? Movie ain't gonna fly if he ain't in it.

I don't think it's that he hates sequels (I mean...he did do a sequel to Garfield after all), it's just that he's always had a vendetta against Ghostbusters 2 for some reason. He's bad mouthed it numerous times over the years. Of course, 1989-1993 weren't exactly the happiest years of his life for him (his first dramatic movie "The Razor's Edge" flopped, his mother died, his first marriage was falling apart) so I think that factors into it. I think Bill is at the point in his life where if he doesn't want to do something, then he's not going to do it. Unfortunately for us, he doesn't want to do Ghostbusters 3.

We're seeing all these remakes and random sequels for a reason. Hollywood is out of ideas...movies are gonna be real :flabbynsick: in the coming years.

Hollywood isn't out of ideas, they just don't have any balls.

They get tons of scripts with new exciting ideas but they often pass on them because it's easier to stick to a formula. Occasionally one studio exec will have the balls to take a risk and try something different but if it's a success every other studio just tries to copy what they did.
