It's official. Ivan Reitman's son wrote and directed it and Bill Murray is in it. This isn't that 2016 Girl Power bullshyt, the original cast is backing it and participating and the story line is a continuation of the first two movies. It's the real deal!I assume the little girl is Egon's grand daughter since they mentioned him being dead.
