Bronson should have to give ghostface 25% of whatever he makes
Fab sells recordsAli Vegas = Non-existent today
Fabolous = Everybody's favorite rapper apparently but doesn't sell any records
Shyne = In Israel
Your Old Droog = One and done (people discovered it wasn't Nas, lost all interest)
So now that we've established sounding somewhat similar to somebody else usually leads to your career ending before said person, what's your point?
I'm also a fan of Bronson and don't wanna shyt on dude but it took me a while to take Bronson seriously. After I realized he was dope, he drops these half assed projects which reminds me of why certain people hate.
That's the key difference between Action Bronson and Ghostface... Action Bronson does shyt like Saab Stories (remember that?) and Mr. Wonderful, and Ghost has arguably the best discography in rap history.
Fab SOLD records.Fab sells records
Sells record. His last album did great. You don't remember how big a deal it was that it sold 70k the first week? Way better than most of his contemporaries with hit singles.Fab SOLD records.
Who would you consider to be his contemporaries... I'm judging him by exactly that. His contemporaries are Drake, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, etc. He's selling 75% worse than the bottom of that list (Kendrick) who has no hit single.Sells record. His last album did great. Compare Action Bronsons last 3 projects including mixtapes to Ghostface's last 3 projects.
Action Bronson's work is more compelling. In any category you want to look at it.
From musical diversity/ beats Action Bronson wins.
shyt, even his cover art is better
his interviews and Web shows are better.
His word play and content is better. (modern era)
I think we need to undestand GFK's career is coming to a slow down.
Ghost is simply making projects just to stay known and so he can still tour. But he's not making stuff that I personally can get into anymore.
It's kinda sad actually.

Drake and J Cole are not his contemporaries. Lol Fab came out in 1998. Well technically they are but at the same time you named like 3 rappers. There's a lot of rappers he sells better than in this era too with hit recordsWho would you consider to be his contemporaries... I'm judging him by exactly that. You can consider 70k good in today's climate, but some of his "contemporaries" are still pushing 250k-gold first week. So we comparing him to those who sell? Or just any old bum who's releasing music today. He sold 70k the first week and has sold 125,000k total. Those are not impressive numbers when compared to his contemporaries.
nikka ain't sold a good amount of records in a decade.
The one person who dapped that shyt being someone named "GHOSTTOAST"

Trust me, I don't believe them to be his contemporaries either (I know what you mean when you say they ain't but they are, cause they ain't but they are same way I feel lol) but the list of comparable rappers isn't that long... rappers who have a sustainable career who are still signed to a major. I would never otherwise compare them... but fukk... it's a slippery sales slope these days.Drake and J Cole are not his contemporaries. Lol Fab came out in 1998.
