I'm also a fan of Bronson and don't wanna shyt on dude but it took me a while to take Bronson seriously. After I realized he was dope, he drops these half assed projects which reminds me of why certain people hate.

That's the key difference between Action Bronson and Ghostface... Action Bronson does shyt like Saab Stories (remember that?) and Mr. Wonderful, and Ghost has arguably the best discography in rap history.

Who would you consider to be his contemporaries... I'm judging him by exactly that. His contemporaries are Drake, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, etc. He's selling 75% worse than the bottom of that list (Kendrick) who has no hit single.

You can consider 70k good in today's climate, but some of his "contemporaries" are still pushing 250k-gold first week. So we comparing him to those who sell? Or just any old bum who's releasing music today. He sold 70k the first week and has sold 125,000k total. Those are not impressive numbers when compared to his contemporaries.

I think we need to undestand GFK's career is coming to a slow down.
Ghost is simply making projects just to stay known and so he can still tour. But he's not making stuff that I personally can get into anymore.

Trust me, I don't believe them to be his contemporaries either (I know what you mean when you say they ain't but they are, cause they ain't but they are same way I feel lol) but the list of comparable rappers isn't that long... rappers who have a sustainable career who are still signed to a major. I would never otherwise compare them... but fukk... it's a slippery sales slope these days.

Matter fact, you know what... you right. I'mma leave Fab off that list. I can't necessarily argue with the fact that he still sells records, cause 130k in todays climate in 6 months ain't nothin to cry about. But he's still leaps and bounds behind that handful that actually still sell records.

Just a random thought, if Nas dropped a record today how much you think he'd sell first week?
