Imagine the meeting to discuss this video.

Director: “Ok, so I’m thinking we‘ll have you standing in front of a basic white bedsheet that says ‘Metaphysics’. Then we got a tiny fridge for no reason. We’ll put you in there. Cut to Temu Ronald McDonald playing Wheel of Fortune. Then some spinning camera action while you sit on a couch below. How do you feel about x-rays?”

Ghost: “Ok but give me 3 costume changes...This, that and the third”

Sounds like you've never created a music video.

I think the video is very dope and done very well.

It reminds me of Bdp's Love is gonna get cha with the black backgrounds.

Ghost is dressed fresh and like the hip hop fashion I appreciate.

Should have just completed the dis and had random clips green screened behind him:lolbron:

Wtf? Is that the exact same beat?

Was Ghost not aware?

Same exact beat.

And Green screen video for the same similar track by someone he had beef with.

Must be coincidental.

Come on dawg, Ghost had to know. He even raps like them on the track. I did not like this album at all, just rehashed beats and just an all around lazy album. Even if some of the tracks were 15 years old, he should have kept them and just came with new tracks like Raekwon did

It came out in the press tour that Ghost had the beat back before Action/Mehyem made their track. Ghost named the track after the producer who since has passed.

I don't believe that at all. If this was true, then why Ghost did not address this earlier when Action/Meyhem dropped it 14 years ago? I could be wrong but this sounds like cap since Ghost got caught sample stealing. Didn't Ghost do that same shyt with 9 Milli Bros?

Ghost was passed the Metal Fingers beat CDs being unaware it was the same person as MF DOOM (or Zev Love X who Ghost knew from KMD). He just thought it was a producer named "Metal Fingers." Once he wanted to use some beats for Fishscale and beyond, they connected and he bought up beats he wanted to use without knowing or caring about DOOM already using some of those instrumentals for some of his other released projects. To Ghost, it was just working off producer's beat tapes like usual.

Also, with that example and that MF DOOM's run didn't cross Ghost's radar and he knew him more as the KMD member, that should clue you in to how little Ghost was checking underground rap and how a song off a 2011 Meyhem Lauryn album would also miss him.

around 13:00 he talks about having the Metaphysics beat held

same producer for a Theodore Unit posse cut w/ J-Love giving an RIP tribute at the beginning

Silly ass shyt to say someone's lying about having a beat stashed when there's other examples on this album of beats he's held for over a decade. Especially with J-Love probably being the one to pass them both the beat being Ghost's main mixtape guy and putting Mehyem on at the same time.

Be better.
