For Ghostface, this is a throwaway project made up of leftovers it seems. For Big Ghost, this is a big deal and a collab.

This is old ass verses slapped together with a bunch of people Ghost never met and probably never even heard of.........

I dont even know if Ghostface even heard this shyt when it was finished:mjlol:

Once I heard him say "Copies like Kinkos" which been closed for 10 years or so and "bars like "Nestle"

I cut this shyt off. It's a dub

mailed in verses at all different levels and sound qualities, 1/4th intros & interludes, RZA done did that Majestic Accolades sample already:

Do the Buckingham Palace & Watch Em Holla beats loop the same 2 horn notes? Maybe with a barely there filter/effect?

There might be a reason Ghost dropped 2 emails this week that his real solo album drops in 2019.

Yeah, this just ain't it.

This tells you exactly what this album is

M80 apparently shared a story of seeing ghost and rza at the wumansion and telling them...

That this album

Is the best

Ghost album

Since supreme clientele

And immediately after saying this, ghost and rza laughed and played him out

Idk why he shared that story but im not gonna check this. M80 bought a few verses and combined all his spare horsemen and westcoast features he had on a hd.

This is a m80/big ghost ltd album. Instrumental might be cool

This is not a real Ghost album and shouldn't be treated as such. I told y'all earlier in the thread that Ghost gave M-Eighty a few quick verses (most likely he did in less than a half hour) for a quick bag and M-Eighty slapped them on some Big Ghost beats and threw some other rappers on it. Ghost has very little to do with this and the rollout for it. He's not even in the one video released for the project (just clips of him performing at one of his shows). The promotional art for it is even some old Ghost pictures that are photoshopped.

Also...THIS IS NOT A LOST TAPES PROJECT. Another duplicitous marketing ploy by M-Eighty for sales. None of these are old Ghost verses. These verses were most likely done in the midst of one of Ghosts' lengthy tours recently, hence the super hoarse voice. A true lost tapes Ghost album would be a fukking classic.

I just finished listening to the project and it's not as bad as I thought it would be. After listening to the snippets and first couple released tracks I thought I was gonna HATE it. The standouts are the cuts with Planet Asia, the Big Daddy Kane joint and the one with Rae. Project is a decent quick listen.

My biggest issue with this is that Ghost should be more concerned with his brand. He shouldn't be selling throwaway verses and have his name marketed on projects like these. He even knows this project is half assed that's why he hasn't really been promoting it and even sent his fans emails recently that his REAL projects are coming soon. His emails to fans are few and VERY far between. I posted one of the emails earlier, here's the other:

Peace peace -

Yo Don’t think I forget about my list.

I still got the free song n visuals coming.

The new Ghostface solo joint is dropping in early 2019 on Ghostfacemusic.com

Got the new Merch about to drop too on there.

Keep your ear n eyes open. Guaranteed u gonna love it.

Real shyt for the Die Hard Gfk Fans .. Ghostface gear to Represent How your feeling...

Wizard of Poetry was in 2009 and that really was Ghost last real studio solo (Apollo Kids was basically a tape of leftover tracks). Wu-Massacre, Wu-Block, Twelve Reasons to Die 1 and 2, 36 Seasons and Sour Soul have all been collab and/or side projects. So it's been damn near a decade since Ghost hit us with a true solo. Ghost need to stop playing.

I think Agallah did a remix album to this that should be dropping soon, similar to Apollo Brown's remix to the Twelve reasons to Die project.

Yeah, this was definitely put together to get sales from diehard Wu fans who buy anything with their name on it.
