Ghostface "The Big Doe Rehab" is such a criminally underrated album

At least in my mind, 'Yolanda's House' was the pt 2 to 'Run':ohhh:

Album is cool - If I want to listen to a whole Ghost album there are three official joints i would play before this, though:ehh:

Can't remember if the advance of this or bullet proof wallets was the version to have for this.
This was a good album in that run.
Playlist wise this was an album made before the big playlist rules era of digital that would take over. So, in continuity of listen wise when you try to create a playlist of this album it could get left off for more definitive joints sonically in ghost discog. Yet, if played from the mindset of this as a physical in the early transition to the digital age it has very good long standard ghost high quality long player marks. If I remember right this was one of those defjam poorly handled admin albums, now they have ghost on defjam albums.

It was some you wait till I come around to pull this bullshyt son,...
Defjam FA real albums....

Other than that it was a good longplayer if treated as such. Shakey dog 2, would probably be the record snatched off of here by anyone trying to make their definitive ghost playlist. Yet this record and bullet proof wallets as long player rank rather high with me as far as long player listening based albums in the early transition to digital age.

Where now albums are too disco pop singles based.
if they are official label created works of art.
Which also by the way is bad because following the disco long player ideal is why disco met its demise using cop and blow tactics on long players or lp's.

This and Apollo kids are both very underrated
Ghost's whole discography is underrated. Which may sound stupid because it's praised. But I still don't think it's highly praised enough.

Dude has arguably never dropped anything close to a dud.

If you do old school Source grading and not the new school grading where every personal classic is somehow deemed a universal classic...Ghostface arguably has no albums less than 4 mics... at least for the first decade of his career.

Like...:patrice:Ghost might have the most consistent discography in hip-hop.

Ironman and Supreme Clienteleare both classics or knocking on its door. Then you had Bulletproof Wallets, Pretty Toney, Fischscale, More Fish, and Big Doe Rehab. After that, you might find one that's below 4 mics, but up until then not really.

I don't think any of those albums are less than 4 mics, and some of them are arguably 4.5, like Fishscale. And honestly I know some people (not me) that like Fishscale more than Ironman.

Off topic, but didn't like Bulletproof Wallets compared to Ironman & Supreme Clientele when it first dropped, now it's top 6 GFK
