Gonna attempt to change the subject lol

Favorite song on The Lost Tapes?

Even though it isn't an "official" album it's up there with Nas' fantastic work.

But I gotta go with Doo Rags. Definitely in my top 10 Nas songs list. Perfect beat/perfect lyrics:wow:

Honorable Mention for Fetus. Love the concept.

I know bro

It wasn't genuine from me...I would still take Ghost though....just responding to Nas stans who have no problem making those kind of outlandish comments against ANY MC...I seen it against HOV, Cube etc. and to some extent Ghost now.

So I struck back lol...and like a swarm of locusts they came at me.

nikkas gettin biblical in here... :dead:

For the sake of fukkery i got @Inspect Her Deck back. So nobody blow a gasket

@SunZoo said not even CLOSE, which is typical nas stan bias

Scustin.

Nas got so many dope albums. True. He also has a lot of filler too.

Ghost has one of the most impecable catalogs in hip hop.

Can Nas do emotional like ghost does? Does nas have songs like Wise, all that i got is you or I cant goto sleep? Imo not on that level

Did nas ever flip personal life into CLASSICs like Can it be so simple/remix? Prolly but not with that power.

Ghost in the early days spit like his life depended on it. Nas was just super nice. That is the difference in my ghost is my top 3 and nas is my top 10.

But to say it isnt close. Well/.. I mean dude is an eminem fan so i guess that says what ut says... U only lookin at technical profiency.

Ghost puts too much life in his verses for me to put nas over.

That line i heard someone aaid @Billy Ocean said i thibk about ghost being a 20 time all star is truth. And nas right there dont get me wrong.

But theres a lot of "ghost isnt even close, ghost is a bum" in this thread. And i question every single one of yalls hip hop credibilitys with that.

"Look at the sun so pretty today"... ghost> ya fav rapper

"Man marrying man ewww they got the urge" ... Ghost >>> ya fav rapper

"Its a must that i take the streets back so fast. Everybody talking how i aint gon last. i caaant looose caaaant looose

"Dont keep jack in my lap! Dont wanna see 2pac"... Ghost >>>>

"Could it be a outta state nikka tried to murder me? I shoulda stayed in job core now im an outlaw. Rae continue to carry the 44!" Ghost>>>

And finally. Nas cant do this right here. He does not have the soul in em. Thats why ill always put ghost ahead of oretty much anyone

I agree with most of this. My two favorite rappers are Nas and Ghost as I've said. I listen to Nas for poetic clarity and Ghostface for "celebrate life to the fullest" emotion.

I give the edge to Nas because he has more to say.

Nas: stylish clarity with some emotion

Ghostface: stylish emotion with some clarity

Both rappers have a ton of style. Both have emotion.

That "in glorious technicolor" style of rap Ghostface does is incredible, and I feel that way a lot of the time, but I can't be 'on one' 24/7. In real life, I'm more Nas than Ghost.

Also, and more importantly, I think Nas has been more artistically successful at his strengths (Illmatic/Lost Tapes style of rap) when you look at his released AND unreleased material.

Meanwhile, Ghost was obviously at his peak with Supreme Clientele. If you look at his solo material (released and unreleased), there isn't a lot of it that comes close to Ghost at his best. But I'd argue that even random tracks like "Rise and Fall" showcase Nas at his best (or close), and he's got a lot of them.

"slow down on the reps breh" - sirbiatchs rep

Course bro. just like nas cant do holla.

Ghost cant do this

Ghost got supreme. Cuban linx. Ironman. Nas got illmativ. Lost tapes. Life is good whatever else.

Literally enough hip hop for both catalogs.

If prolly put nas #3 if i thought about it.

1. Big
2. Ghost
3. Nas.

Big just gets the top spot forever.

I'd take Nas and Ghost over Big.

Big's nice as fukk (obviously), but for some reason, I rarely get the urge to listen to dude. Same with Jigga. It's no wonder the comparisons are so rife between them. Jay-Z and Big approach rap from almost the same angle.
