Don't get me wrong, shyt is still good. It's just not exactly what I was expecting. I like the concept though, I think with more listens I'll appreciate it.

People gotta take it for what it is. Ghost aint young and dusted anymore. We should be thankful that hes still giving us quality material like this. How many other vets are still making music like this? Instead of nitpicking his flow, ENJOY the shyt hes giving us 20 years into his career. Its still waaay better than what his contemporaries are doing.
The concept is also meant for him to be a bit more subdued. He would sound weird spazzing over live instrumentation. Theres actually a story to the album, not just stream-of-consciousness imagery

"The Brown Tape" Sampler | Soul Temple Music honestly this version is way better.. I'm probably gonna buy this one and I recommend people that ain't feeling the album to listen to this version cause it's better overall.
