Ghost's verse on "Ice Water" might be the best verse of all time.

c'mon man...Ghost doesn't have a top 5,10,15,or 20 verse of all-time..and i don't have nothing against the guy either..

Doesn't matter if YOU feel that he doesn't have a top 5, 10, 15 or 20 verse of all time or if you don't have anything against him, or not. He's still Top 10 MC of all time with tons of under the radar verses. This Ice Water verse is one of them. Ghost >>>>> most dudes favorite rappers.

Great thread. IMO:

1. Rae - Incarcerated Scarfaces 3rd verse ("Africans denying nikkas up in yellow cabs...")
2. Nas - Verbal Intercourse ("Through the lights, camera, and action glamor and gold...")
3. Rae - Knowledge God 1st verse ("Wide world of sport nikkas snort coke by the seconds...")
4. Inspecta Deck - Guillotine ("Poisonous paragraphs smash your phonograph in half...")
5. Ghostface - Ice Water ("Check out the rap kingpin, the black Jesus...")

so many classic verses on that album, I could probably re-arrange a top 5 for hours. GZA's verse on Wu-Gambinos :ahh:

This track used to get me OD hype as a kid!

I miss that ol' Wu flavor. Cats couldn't touch that level of excellence back then. Summer '95 was RULED by this album.

i refuse to conform
nas rhyme schemes are ridiculous imo

Through the lights cameras and action, glamour glitters and gold
I unfold the scroll, plant seeds to stampede the globe
When I'm deceased, by then the beast arise like yeast
to conquer peace leaving savages to roam in the streets
Live on the run, police paying me to give in my gun
Trick my Wisdom, with the system that imprisoned my son
Smoke a gold leaf I hold heat, nonchalantly
I'm grungy, but things I do is real it never haunts me
while, funny style nikkaz roll in the pile
Rooster heads profile on a bus to Riker's Isle
Holdin weed inside they p*ssy with they minds on the
pretty things in life, props is a true thug's wife
It's like a cycle, nikkaz come home, some'll go in
Do a bullet, come back, do the same shyt again
From the womb to the tomb, presume the unpredictable
Guns salute life, rapidly, that's the ritual
