Seeing Harden, KD and Kyrie up at a trophy presentation is not gonna hit the same.

KD and LeComissioner have always been shameless cowards

Its refreshing to see this tho, hopefully Portland can get Dame some real help so he can get at least one.

Something special about a home grown ring, means alot more than these manufactured rings these players have been chasing the last 10 years.

Hopefully Ja, Zion, and Lamelo are watching and choose a different path than the old guard did.

Dan Gilbert is the SOLE reason Lebron wasn’t able to do it without a super team.

I’m glad Lebron did what he did. And i’m glad Giannis did what HE did

Cats gotta realize everybody's path is different

Can't blame some guys for leaving. Can't blame some guys for staying. Not everybody is in the same situation.

Well..one of the very few thread that is having the right debate..

Giannis didnt need a big 3 to win(only super team was the warriors)

So if he gets 2 more of those...he gets to be in the goat convo.

The 66-win cavs he was apart of was a top 5 offense

the 61-win cavs team he was apart of was a top 5 offense

Seems to me like LeBron just couldn’t do it. 60+ win teams are historically good. He had the help. He just failed :yeshrug:

:mjlol:

Tskes like these is why I rarely discuss sports with strangers nowadays

are we still pretending like Khris Middleton fell into Giannis lap? :mjlol:

He put up 24 in the playoffs and finals. Won 2 playoff games without Giannis :ehh:

However, this is more or so what I meant.
The bucks gave up all their future picks to bring in a guy to convince Giannis not to leave. The cavs weren’t willing to do the same

Lebron never played injured team after injured team in the playoffs

poor context

If Cleveland gave LeBron another 20+ point scoring to play with in his first go around and would've trade for Amar'e Stoudemire instead of Antwone Jamison and Jason Kidd instead of washed up Shaq then this silly argument would have some merit :unimpressed:
Wasn't the reason that trade didn't go down (according to Stat) was because there was no reassurance that Bron was resigning? That was reported by a few CLE beat guys and national guys

I feel like it was a necessary evil tho.

For years plenty of players have fell victim to incompetence from the front office, but the fukked up part is that the front office would get none of the blame while the player is the one to deal with the negative energy. Which is understandable because they're the ones taking the court, but there should be a balance. The past decade allowed players to hold the front office accountable for the team that's on the court.

Alot of blame also goes to the media for creating these narratives of rings, rings, rings. The same ones that are showering Giannis with praise now were the ones running free agency articles just a few months ago about him potentially joining the Warriors or Heat before he signed an extension.

Don't forget he walked out on Malika Andrews back in 2019 for asking a free agency question after being eliminated, 2 years before his deal was over.

Dame is in a similar situation, but Portland's FO track record lately shows that he's behind the 8 ball in the championship chase.

To win a championship you need a lot of things to come together. I think once people realize this and understand that every situation is different then they'd enjoy the game a bit more.
