The person I addressed said Bosh took his team to the playoffs. He did so twice as a bottom seed, first round exit in 7 seasons. Where they contenders? Nah that was the context of that post.
Stop wasting your time. There are like 8 Giannis stans on here and they can’t be reasoned with. Everything you said was accurate and Donice rive people know it. We just stopped talking to them before they make us hate a player we love.

There is a reason for this and I hope this doesn't lead to some anger:

A lot of Black American current and former NBA players do not like Giannis because he is not Black American.
Do you have a reason that’s based on anything concrete? Or you’re just throwing this silly shyt out there?

Nah. I ain't letting you do Klay like that. Middleton is MUCH more inconsistent. Middleton is every other game on and off. Klay will have a random shyt game out of 10.

I understand you want to prove your point with Bron, but the Bucks had two offensively negative assets on the court at all times. I was trying to stay out of this, but Wade/Bosh/Haslem/Battier/Super Mario were all capable of hitting open shots. PJ Tucker might as well have been one of us and they needed Bobby Portis two series after his own coach benched him. That's not the sign of a super team. Even with injuries that's still D Wade. Even if Bosh wasn't producing like Raptors Bosh he still had that dog/talent in him. It's not the same. Jrue and Middleton aren't capable of taking their own team to the playoffs by themselves like Wade and Bosh did. Both Bosh and Wade were the best players in the history of their franchise at the time they teamed up with Bron.
They won 2 games in the ECF without Giannis. Explain that

I think it's probably more a cultural zugzwang than any sort of resentment.

On a surface level there's the acknowledgment he's Black, but because he doesn't share a similar mentality that comes with growing up in this country, it creates a perception that borders on xenophobia, but not in a hatred sense, more of a lack of understanding. It especially applies to those who don't embrace the fabric of AA culture that the NBA fraternity is built upon, which Giannis doesn't. He has his own identity that is completely separate to your typical NBA superstar.

I don’t have specific examples outside of the mean tweets.

Giannis isn’t from American basketball culture which has been cultivated around summer basketball camps and traveling teams.

Most of these guys have known each other since they were 12 or 13.

Giannis is not from that and seems to have no desire to join it and since he the top dog in the NBA now, it rubs people the wrong way.

I saw this with Kobe when he entered the league.

That’s a terrible comparison seeing as Kobe was pretty aloof and not really social at all, plus not even old enough to enjoy nightlife with his teammates even if he wanted to.

The logic you’re using is implying guys aren’t fukking with Giannis because he’s not a Black American. The example you’ve just given here leans more to Giannis not fukking with them because he’s not a Black American. These are two different things.

The poll should've been public so we can see the 9 morons that voted yes

One vote is probably from Stak, another from CJ McCollum, and another from the breh that always makes threads shytting on Giannis. Who are the other 6 morons? :jbhmm:
