I love his determination. And Giannis has a great, fun personality off the court. And he deserved the MVP awards he won.

But how much you’re willing to suffer and how hard you work doesn’t mean anything to me as far as MVP voting.

All that matters is how productive and valuable you are on the court. Sorry about his hand pain but it is what it is.

Dead ass, what else would be skills? Passing too. Not even trying to shyt on Giannis, but in sports it’s ok to be skilled…and it’s ok to not need as much skill…to get to the same endpoint which is putting the ball in the basket.

Some players utilize more skills than others to do that. Is that not a correct way of thinking? It’s literally a skill set to be able to dribble well or shoot from your spots.
Defense and rebounding isn't a skill. Tact and ability to finish around the basket in different ways isn't a skill. Being able to go coast to coast isn't a skill. Post game isn't a skill. Only what Kyrie does is skill

Defense and rebounding are more hustle and effort than skill. Not to mention natural gifts like height and length make you automatically better at those. That’s part of mine and Giannis’ point. Natural gifts undoubtedly help in every facet of the game, but shooting (helps in getting off clean shots) and dribbling don’t rely as much as those things you named. Ability to finish is a skill, I’ll concede that. We giving credit to NBA players being able to dribble up and down a court now?

Giannis is a good player but you tried to downplay players being better at like the two main standout skills in ball. No idea why you’re bringing up Kyrie like I ever did, stop adding straw men to discussions.

Keep falling for the fake humble quotes

U really think Giannis is at the crib with his fam and friends and saying this shyt? Giannis showed what he’s about when he put the crown on his head after shytting on Bron and AD. I have no issue with that Giannis, in fact I’ve been saying he’s the best player in the league and it’s not even close. But these love me quotes are as nauseating as dame’s bi weekly I want to stay in Portland quotes

Facts.

This aspect of him is the only thing that irks me & it’s also the reason he doesn’t get the respect he deserves. He acts like everything was given - when he earned it with hard work & dedication.

Embiid also used to be like that until he put his feet down. And he’s getting the respect he deserves now.

GA needs to be more assertive & be himself. And he’ll be greater & more respected.

Dennis Rodman would say hell no it isn't just effort. Studying the trajectory from players shots and tracking the ball is a SKILL.
