No, you’re giving the generous construction that Giannis is stating this matter of factly when we have multiple events and evidence to show that he doesn’t like Harden and was going at him as a personal attack.

Giannis took shots at Harden during the draft, this isn’t some “oh he’s discussing strategy in a vacuum” event.

Giannis does not play the one anymore.
so he should not be worried about a backcourt player and Giannis is currently a frontcourt player.
he lost in that allstar game because rotationally he never put his foot down to nick nurse. to get an ineffective lowery out of the ball game asap.
plus he drafted wrong as well.
Giannis tried to take ownership of the game. Yet since he failed as a pg. I feel giannis should have played his subordinate neutered failed to be a pg three position and left harden to be harden in the backcourt.

by moving around to harden defensively. He created the situational changes from poor rotational management. That eventually lead to LeBron's team winninG as well.
these new players lack sound bball roster rotation and situational iq. That real talk.
I think pat riley is the only guy left in the league.
who knows what that is and how to be effective with it as well.

what's crazy is i really like harden and hate to even be kinda honest about him.
that is how much I root for that kid.
especially since i typically know the NCAA top scorer will get shafted in thr NBA just because.
so to see him persevere. Amidst that theft in the night type organization in okc. similar to the Baltimore colts that broke my dad's heart as a kid. When the thunder completely stole Seattle purposefully away from that market. At a time. if they never traded principles around dursnt.

they had the bones for a championship team there.

so now to see them get harden and russ.
then see them play harden like every other top NCAA scoring guy.
it is like, dis sum bullshyt.
yet i rooted for that kid. I remember where i was and what bar I was in and i don't even drink anymore. Let alone at that time. Yet i still remember him beating san an and where i was. Even where the tv in the bar was at the time.
so to see jim finally coup okc and go to Houston. I was all for it reluctantly. As long as harden got his shine. Yet in that. This idea he can pringles gimmick ball and then check out. Just because gimmick ball is doomed to fail. I just will not accept. As harden is smart enough to put his foot down and then demand better in scheme from pringles. Plus harden should demand pringles fix his lack of bball iq where it is essentially flawed. As it pertains to situational lineup and positional changes that lead to real wins regardless of the setting. Which means pringles should be putting out sou d high iq bball rotational lineups. That lead to talking a group for winning in thr post season. Not just being there, and then systematically being destroyed like the warriors have done by simple scheme to pringles. Especially when pringles has been told by his former exec in kerr. To fix xyz and still plays him along the same confines as those exec to head coach employee discussions.

harden is the player I would enjoy rooting for like when he was drafted to his comeuppance. Yet to be the goat.

you need to also do wtf Jordan did as far as DOUG and Phil. Which means you either demand better or lead a coup to remove the weak link.
harden has yet to demand better.
plus has failed to will his way when i have seen him impose his will as well.

oh and that nikka need to hit the weights.
harden got ol slave hand mamie buffalo wing arms.
that shyt a no no.
especially when air Jordan to kobe was only successful.
as kobe put it because when he looked at mj and scottie after the pistons series. That they became strong.
harden needs to re-apply himself in the intangibles. As long as he does not. harden will never be fully successful. Plus, he will continue to leave an indelibly dark mark on his culture card as a player. Which questions his leadership to bbal iq and conditioning. All areas he should not be havinG issues in.
for the type of skill player James harden is.

I tell you what, if hurricane katrina never happened, Seattle might still have a team. Oklahoma saw the opportunity to have a team in there after hosting Hornets for nearly two seasons. Everything about them is bad karma, from catastrophe giving them a chance to make a nice pitch to NBA, to actually owning a basketball team by scamming another city, to now them losing all of their franchise players to other teams, and now CP3 once again is playing in Oklahoma just like 14 years ago. Full circle. Now if Seattle managed to take Sonics franchise back from Oklahoma, it would be a justice served :mjlol:

D'Antoni is the same he's been, not good rotations and keeping for too many minutes in regular season, then they burn out in the playoffs.

I guess Harden lost some of that fire when he got paid heavily. Some players are like that, they would play their hardest when they feel unappreciated or contract year, then check out mentally. This year dude is losing in the playoffs again, most likely 1st or 2nd round.

I've already stated earlier than everyone know that Giannis doesn't like Harden and that he's pissed off in that intw about the loss. And that people complain when players are all buddy-buddy and that people don't care about the game, but now that Giannis isn't buddy buddy and clearly cares (in that he's mad) about losing, yet they still complain lol. He's saying what commentators say sometimes in games when team A tries to exploit team B's perceived weakness. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Big deal :yeshrug:

Imagine if after the Rockets and Warriors game 7 Mike D'Antoni comes out and says "They couldn't guard us from three so we kept shooting em on their terrible defense even tho we missed 26 of them"

Do you think you would be sitting here saying "Oh well Mike D'Antoni is just pointing out a great x's and o's point here:ohhh:"

FOH you'd be saying "Rockettes fans :umad::russ::banderas:"

That is what happened here. They went to a game plan that was terrible and didn't work and then he doubled down after the game out of spite.

Nah, I would say "No shyt, we watched the game" and "Live by the 3 die by the 3". What worked for them at times didn't work that time. Giannis said what they did. Turns out it didn't work. That's why you play the games I guess. Why the hell would I care about Rocket fans :dwillhuh:

Harden is one of the stronger guards in the league so he is actually good at holding his ground/post defense

He just loses focus/effort in open space...that's where he struggles....he ballwatches and loses track of his guy or just flat out doesnt give full effort on closeouts.

He's not a total zero on defense, he just never 100% committed to bringing it on every possession
