@Art Barr told me Thon was going to be the next KD

the problem with the bucks is they do bot understand you can not make thon maker into a down low player at all. He is a wing and strictly only a wing.
you did not see the Sonics make kd into a pf. Kd played sg, to start out. In this instance because kidd can only coach one way which is standard template ideal of basketball. As kidd as a coach is not visionary enough to get the idea of team length to be a reality. Kidd just does not think outside the box enough the way someone like riley or Kerr did with parts of the type like kidd has in maker. The NBA has always had this issue and if not for a staunch basic force to make magic play pg exclusively. We would have never seen that era of play. So imo, I just think kidd really has not watched as much magic as he alludes to. Plus, more or less is where he is from pulling on court coups that resulted in taking over the coaching position. Imo, are kidd's workouts fun, yes. Is the bucks prep fun from just my perspective for players, yes. Yet past that..i fill there is a disconnect with theory and application as a coach for kidd. As imo, he has actually failed in the idea of what team length should be. Moving forward I hope the bucks have success cause they are my favorite team. Yet, realistically I know right now kidd does not employ this roster to be as successful as it potentially is on paper.
I wish he did, but I watch the product and the disconnect to potentially what the bucks are and the reality are to much to ignore.

especially as far as thon maker is concerned.

The Cavs should be trying to get Koufous from the Kings, or Lopez from the Bulls. Just having a real 7 footer would help them out.

wat about tyson chandler or monroe
i read somewhere that suns are going to trade him also

You know whats so crazy.People don't take a step back and realize that the cavs have gone to 3 consecutive finals without a legit starting center, all while starting a backup SG.The big 3 of Lebron,Kyrie, and Love have masked Cleveland's deficiencies at the other two starting positions.Don't get me wrong,TT/JR played pivotal roles in cleveland winning the championship. But both players at better suited coming off the bench.People are all up in arms over the cavs slow start when this is who they've always been. It's hard to go on long winning streaks when your getting inconsistent performances from two of your starting players.

2 of the last 3 years Cleveland has played .500 ball for half of the season.

2014-15:Cleveland started the season 19-20.Finished with 53 wins.

2016-17:In their last 46 games,clevland went 23-23.Finished with 51 wins.

Clevelands needs a legit center with some size, and a more consistent SG.

Thompson and JR were also their two best defensive players. Biggest problem with the roster is just about everybody is a liability on one side of the court. They need two way players in the worst way.

I feel where u coming from, Kidd went and designed a roster of length for the sake of having long players. Like this roster with Jackson’s development plus a modern high tempo spacing offense such as Atkinson’s or Walton’s (at least what it’s supposed to be in principle) would do wonders.

team length should actually be a whole next generation style of coaching methodology based on the parts. Not just a basic marketing pr buzz label of team length. Which at this point just feels like a marketing run. To showcase the idea of the type of culture the bucks had on paper. Yet not actually the real scope of the team past a buzzword via marketing the team's change in ownership and direction culture wise.

:mjlol: Lebron is their best defensive player which tells you how bad they are defensively. JR will have a occasional streaky game where he hits 6 threes other than that he's useless. TT used to be a high energy guy but now he's completely useless. They need to move both of them.

I just pointed out that TT/JR played pivotal roles in Cleveland winning the championship. But where were they the 2nd half of last season ?...and where were they in last years finals ?....where have they been to start this season ?

TT/JT in 2017 finals:

Gm 1:3p/4r/1-7 in 51 minutes-no energy

Gm 2:8p/6r/4-9 in 45 minutes-no energy

GM 3:TT:0p/3r/0-1 in 23 minutes-no energy

How do you expect to win championships when two of your starters are giving you no production with no energy/effort ?

I always felt that Cleveland should have traded kyrie for Bledsoe and chandler and a draft pick :francis: instead they trade for a broken down Thomas and a big man they aren't even using. But they got that high draft pick and Crowder so...
