That dog is no guard dog. A more aggressive breed would have torn it to shreds.

lol the wild part is that a lot of those smaller breeds are bred to hunt and kill rats. He didn’t seem to really want those problems though.

Cats are terrible at killing rats. Great at mice, but not good with rats. Their presence is just a natural deterrence.
