I think this was a poor decision. Eli Apple was finally making strides and you give up on him. Its not like the Giants are so flush in cap space that they can go after too many high priced free agents and I would take him over Janoris Jenkins. The Saints added value for low low.

I'm not too knowledgable on Apple other than knowing he had a good rookie year, and last year he apparently fell off hard and Giants players and fans hated him lol. I haven't heard much about him this year, except for last night when he was struggling with Julio and Booger was saying the Falcons needed to keep picking on him
