The defender he had to play against bigger and stronger guys in an era where the big was a central point of the offense. . He had to guard good to great bigs every night ..

Let's be clear here, what version of Rodman are you talking about? Because if you're speaking on the one that moved to the 4, it isn't even a contest as to who the better defender is. Rodman could only do a few things at that age; box out, rebound and defend in the post. Regardless of your opinion of what Draymond's defensive capabilities in the post are - he made up for it and surpassed Rodman in every other area.

Well considering Malone often would shrink in the moment during the postseason, and considering that Draymond would more than hold his ground down low/contest at the rim, than of course he wouldn't get destroyed.

Not even jus Stat wise..because I knw you one of them cats..but the psychological advantage he had as a defender.. this is the era of the "charge/flop" defense was played different back then..

You're speaking as if Draymond isn't of the same breed, and doesn't play aggressive physical defense.
