I know it's really about the 20 years of being a meme but if that's the case that's a general thing, this Super Saiyan energy towards these 3 is too emotional. It's not like his name was randomly brought up to kick off a 5 minute roast, he was brought up in context. Gil even touched on what his potential supposedly was.

Were you alive during the time this man was getting shyt on daily by the media?

He was also ticked off about this when they interviewed with Jeanie Buss, and I guess after the Gilbert interview he had enough

I just listened to the whole episode cause Gil is entertaining, if Kwame is really going off like this for this interview this is hypersensitive and soft.

no idea how you get sensitive and soft from kwame telling two dudes who built their brands on being tough guys that they can get the fade… but do you.

Then have that energy for the media

So including the guest who only spoke in context and shone a positive light on your potential is still wrong. If he feels Matt and Jack disrespect him too much that's on them.

I couldn't tell you the sound of Kwame's voice before this. And I was a teenager when he was drafted. He hadn't said a word. Everyone has a breaking point and watching these two pull slick smiles and in-between the lines jabs? Within days. The brother went scorch earth. And no one has gone to their corner.

This was like Ned Flanders flipping out. And I can't say I blame him.

Hey their criticism is what broke the camel's back for him and he has some good commentary on their media schtick. It may be a bit extra but that helps him they can't really go where he is going with it.
