Giannis is the best player in the league, fukk all that weak dribble a million times for a step back 3 from 35 feet away will probably miss weak ass bullshyt this small ball weak ass era of basketball has produced. I for one miss good old fashioned bully ball. The league done changed the rules tk favor 'finesse' play and they been losing viewers ever since.

They just mad because Giannis was drafted and was the definition of a project and done already made himself a lock for the Hall of Fame before he's 30. That shyt must burn these nikkas souls.

giannis is a better playmaker than draymond

if teams doubled curry on the pnr, giannis would decimate them coming off the short roll
Giannis was getting triple teamed in the post at times in the finals against Phoenix, we haven't seen post players get triple teamed since Shaq.

Giannis, Curry, and Klay Thompson on the same team would be an even deadlier combination than KD, Curry, and Thompson was cause even if Curry and Thompson miss, Giannis is gonna get the rebound and put it back in for 2 and probably an and 1 as well. That shyt would be a fukking cheat code damn near.

On top of the fact who would you focus your defense on: Curry or Giannis, your basically gonna be giving up points either way you go.

I don’t understand the basis of his argument that he doesn’t understand based on the minutes he plays. I’m gonna guess he’s saying Giannis doesn’t know how to pace himself because he’s always on 10 all game, which is why his minutes are limited. But saying that he won two MVPs, a DPOY and Championshi/Finals MVP, but doesn’t know how to play basketball is ridiculous.

No I think the bucks system is easier to understand, I'm not saying he won't be better, he would he fits the scheme well, he runs well and is strong but the warriors system has ALOT of switches and pick and rolls, I think the bucks is more simpler and favors his strength more IE post up which the warriors never really do.
Because he plays in an easier system according to you he can’t play in a more difficult one? Makes no fukking sense. Giannis wouldn’t have an issue setting screens and switching. This really is a moronic take and actually has nothing to do with the stupid shyt Gil said.

Gil knew exactly what he was doing, and it’s working, a whole thread, on this hot take

Probably trying to leverage a gig for ESPN :francis:

Giannis IMO already a top 20 NBA player of all time and can finish top 10 when it’s all said and done. If anyone in the NBA is a model for steady improvement with leaps in their development and game through their hard work, Giannis is the blueprint.

Gilbert is a functioning retard. He ain't all the way there.

:stopitslime:
Dude one of the smartest guys in sports. He's associated with a lot of silly behavior but dude is sharp. He's an undersized, overlooked California guard who used his basketball IQ to become an NBA all star.

He can break down how to generate offense against any player at any level. Dude truly understand positioning, timing, and rhythm.
