He's an idiot but nothing will come of this. I work Fraud in the banking industry and we know people do this shyt all the time. It's a lot of factors that determine if they will approve or deny your fraud claim. Gilbert being a preferred client or a high net-worth individual, you can get away with all kind of shyt because you're still a valuable customer to them.

If the Fraud Investigators actually investigated Gilbert claims, I'm sure they would have found enough evidence to deny his shyt. It's funny how people be thinking they so smart nd trying to get away with shyt and have no idea that the banks and credit card companies have seen every scheme multiple times

If you finesse the bank or CC company and get you're money back, 99% of the time it's because they didn't look into it because the mount wasn't worth it, or they value you as a customer and just let you get away with the shyt
