If a player decides he wants to buy his parents a house, for 3 to 4 million. - First fukk up.

Furnish the house. - Second fukk up.

People need to address the idea of no handouts. I love my parents but I would not buy them a house for 4 million unless that 4 million was a pinprick in my income.

shiiiiiiiiiit everyone can live in one fukking house.

Y’all getting one crib in the sticks, 2 regular ass cars and that’s it.

Same as most other people, it's called credit. Only they get offered much higher credit limits.

People forget these are KIDS... Bout 18-19 in the NBA... 22-23. They *mostly* didn't even go to real classes through high school and college. And they've been coddled, molded and told they are savior to their family and friends since middle school...

and.................. BAM.... Here's 30 million dollars and a new city every night... Have fun...

Of course they fukk it up. Grown ass graduates fukk up 50k a year, EVERY year... The sports leagues are the ones who should be ashamed for not getting these guys the proper schooling and financial education after the draft. I would think it would be in the organizations best interests, to keep their players rich and happy.

That trap of feeling like we owe our parents a debt for being brought here when 40yo others stay asking 70yo parents for 5-6 digits to fukk off with no regard for their elderly parents survival

Setting yourself on fire to keep everyone warm type shyt:mjcry:
We’re the only demographic of people like this. My folks be tryna guilt trip me sometimes, why should I have to pay for your poor financial choices?

I don’t like giving them money, because I know if it was vise versa they’d give me the :camby:

Its real simple. The vast majority of people think if you make $5 million/year you take home $5 million/year.
Even more people mistakenly think that high earnings are taxed at 50% rather than in brackets like everyone else.

I highly doubt Floyd has several hundred million in the bank.

I dunno....there was an ESPN article (think it was ESPN) on Floyd. This had to have been 10+ years ago at least.

The journalist somehow caught a glimpse of Floyd's bank account and it was like $120 million+ just sitting there in like a generic Wells Fargo acct.

Floyd wasn't even bragging. The writer couldn't figure how Floyd...and WHY Floyd would have that much money in a checking acct

facts

a lot of these dudes come from the hood, went to high schools that don’t even talk about financial responsibility and then in college many of them are not taking finance classes and u surrounded by snake ass dudes and women who only have they best interest and will tell a kid from the hood who don’t know better how to spend they money

this is why every professional sport team have to has that smart veteran like a John Salley on they team to tell brothers about life and financial responsibility off the court

Not doubting that. But Floyd has also openly bragged about how much he has in his account. My point is if he had hundreds of millions in his account, he probably would’ve shared account balance screenshots.
