The conversation was about Hollywood, so however Latinos view Afro-Latinos, the American perception is what matters in our context. And in America, Afro-Latinos are black. So when the girl she interrupted was talking about Black women, Afro-Latinas were included in that denomination. Hence why I said her intervention doesn't make sense, unless she considers Afro-Latinas as not black or not Latinas.
Most Americans don't know what an Afro-Latino is.

It depends. "Afro Latinos" in NYC an south Florida would strongly disagree with you.

Negus starting to wake up. NEVER FORGET there are black people in Latin countries and they're given the same smoke as we are over in the US. Latino is not a race, it's a cultural identity. Most latinos do not identify with anything black and many of them deny any african heritage. No different from white supremacists who have black ancestors from slavery but who have been diluted into total whiteness.

They would fight if you called them black.

We would beat they ass if they say they're black. They know better than that. And they know if they don't beat whoever ass that calls them black then we will beat their ass for letting it slide. They better not even dream of being black. We'll kick they ass for even doing that.
