According to some in the thread, the teacher was in the right for letting this go on...even before it escalated to physical. Thank God they are NOT responsible for youth. They'd be too busy trying to certain students teach "life lessons" than trying to ensure the safety of all students.

Precisely. As a former teacher, I can tell you that she was all types of wrong for letting them carry on like that from the beginning. She did NOTHING to deescalate the situation before it turned physical (which is apart of her job description). This was not a brawl and they carried on for a long time before anyone even exchanged hands (so people can spare the whole I'm not putting myself in danger bs).

These are teenagers (let's not forget), but I not the type of person who makes it a habit to adultify black boys and girls. He should not have been harassed and the situation should have been stopped long before she had a chance to push him or for him to react.
