In goatganda school girls have to shave their head

Yeah depending on the school. Personally I'm against it but it does a few things

First it forces the girls to focus on school and not how attractive they are and spend their energies on developing that

Second its an easy signal to folks that this is someone who's still young and basically off limits so if there's a confusion I think the adult should have recognized something is up especially with the hair.

That being said my niece had dreads all her life while in school until recently.

I experienced the same thing in Kenyan schools. On top of that in my era we had corporal punishment. I can't tell you how many sadists I met cosplaying teachers. Beating kids and controlling them when they tried to express themselves a lil. I hated so many teachers. Any hairstyle that looked decent they found issue with. High top fades were "distracting"... Damn near any female hairstyle that wasn't natural was "distracting". Doesn't surprise me to see the same in Jamaica.

That shyt was a deterrent though :pachaha:

You had to put it in your math when doing something the possibility of getting whooped and if it was worth it

Schools especially girls schools making a decision to have the girls be modest and concentrate on their studies.

If I was a parent I'd consider if its worth it.

My sister went to a school like that where that was the focus. They limited the amount of material things they could have there so everyone had the same, limited how much focus they put on their appearance so they didn't become vain or focus most of their time on their looks or become a target to pedo predators, gave them discipline.

It sucks for the girls cause they want to let loose but control and discipline as a speed governor helps on the flip side. They have plenty of time to get into those things they want to do like the hair later when they are situated. But the focus is on education.

And folks gotta realize how different people are outside of the us. When I first went to Embry Riddle I was in shock at how people were. shyt I'd never think of doing. Folks had their feet up on the desk, strolling into the class room whenever in sandals after coming from playing beach volleyball. The way they spoke to the teachers.

So twenty years later their male peers can come on the net and complain ad nauseum how their degrees let them think they don’t have to look attractive

I see the vision :skip:

If a woman can do both she will. I'm not saying its ideal the idea. But I'd rather an educated woman who can do things to be attractive especially if she naturally is. Than a fine woman who's uneducated who can't do anything to be less stupid. Both as her man, parents or family member

The Traps of Unified Korea

This one of those threads were the info exists but in order to keep the outrage going you just have to ignore it and talk about something else. The hairstyle is impossible to mainstain throughout the day in a humid element in a country where central AC is not everywhere. Girls are focusing on maintaining their hair instead of studies.

When I was in middle school (in the United States) they banned pencils because we were skipping class and gambling playing pencil break. They also kept asking parents not to send kids to school with change because we were playing quarters

This was also said in that same thread but everybody skipped over it. It’s all about conformity to colonial standards. This is the same country where some schools ban the speaking of patois on school premises because it’s perceived as not being prestigious.

This is a trash and lazy excuse.
Why not just use hall monitors? Like every other school in existence? Thats how you keep kids from skipping class. Not a hair ban. this is clearly just juelzing

You can look at the schools Instagram page and see girls with black hairstyles. The tweets I posted are telling exactly what is going on with the girls with edges

You act like this validates the decision. but it literally makes zero sense. If kids are skipping class get some hall monitors on them.
A hair ban isn't going to stop anything. except force them to do something else when they skip class
