We might have an accent to the british, yes, but within america, I don't think so. I think we sound quite generic. So let me get this straight, when you listen to TV, you are hearing a californian accent? :wtf:
Yes because the american accent i am used to is not like that of Californians. I typically can pick out New Yorkers and others from the NorthEast.
If they dont have those accents and it's not the GA or FL or TX accent (places i've lived) then it's ANOTHER ACCENT. It may not be exclusive to California but like i said... it's an accent.
