I haven't played ball in years so I'm Kurt Rambis now.
I'll describe how I played as a kid and y'all can make the scouting report comparison;
-Started out in the post since on my middle school team I was one of the taller kids (we were small and I just started playing). I was 125-145 through middle and high school so this was all finesse.
-On the drive I went both left and right. I was never an ankle breaker but I got good enough to get there without getting ripped. Finished decently.
-Loved passing and was good at it.
-Decent shooter but contrary to most I hated corner 3's, give me the top or the wing. Better at catch-and-shoot.
-Took pride in defense and if I wasn't doing shyt else I was making cats work to score. I did most of my growing early but at 5'6-5'9" on a playground or gym class level I was in the middle as far as height so I'd guard any and everybody within 4-5 inches of me.
-In one of our games of 21 my boy and I were talking positions and I was thinking I was a 3/4 since I started out a 4/5 and improved my handle and passing but he told me I looked for my shot as if I were a guard. I took shots to keep the opposition honest but like I said I loved playmaking, I'd happy be 2nd or even 3rd in scoring if I had score-first cats on my team but when I said fukk it sometimes I surprised myself. My role depended on where I played; in my neighborhood I'd be the #1 option, at school or other playgrounds I took the backseat to the better scorer(s) and worked at everything else. If I started playing maybe 3 years earlier I'd probably have been a whole lot nicer and more inclined to score in general.
Who am I?
