Trez has been ballin out...It's going to be messed up if we lose him this offseason. The most we can pay him is 11.1m......So if he decides to sign with another team, Clutch better make sure that it's a sign/trade so that we get something in return.

Yeah his defensive fukk ups are a problem but I don't mind it as long as he's bringing the energy and putting up 20 a game. Same way I felt about Kuz when he sucked at defense. At least offset it on offense.

Agreeing to a sign/trade does not mean getting paid less money (see Jerami Grant, Danilo Gallinari,etc..)

I'm not making myself clear....if the most the lakers can pay him is 11 then even in a sign and trade wouldnt he still only get 11 since we would have to sign him first? what incentive would there be for him to do that?

Good point.......Rich Paul needs to work his magic and persuade Montrezl into not opting out.....But ultimately Montrezl will have the final say.

I think he can be decent if he sticks to rebounding, catching lobs and focusing on defense. He will look much better on our team fully healthy than the version we have right now. His biggest issue has been teams allow him to do whatever he wants, he can be very helpful if he tries to be like a DeAndre Jordan big
