Lakers would be worse right now if they didn't make those moves. Harrell, Gasol and Drummond is an upgrade over Dwight and McGee. Could you imagine how trash this offense would be with Bron and AD out if the Lakers didn't have Harrell? :picard:

Schroeder is theoretically an upgrade over Rondo and for the most part is having a better regular season than Rondo has ever had as a Laker. Rondo is good in a reduced role but is not at the stage of his career where he can carry the torch when superstars are out. Granted, neither is Schroeder, but I think he's doing a better job than Rondo would have.

Your whole point is...well theoretical. you can imagine a lot of things. Imagine if Lebron didnt didnt get hurt. Or AD. one could imagine a lot of things

The point is this team is better constructed to withstand injuries to Bron and AD. The combo of Harrell, Schroeder, Gasol, and Drummond is better at generating offense than Rondo, Green, Dwight, and McGee. The latter might be better ancillary pieces with the team at full strength but would not have been able to withstand injuries to Bron and AD.
