Don't get mad at me because my expectations are higher than yours.

Harrell, Dennis, Kuzma, Drummond, Gasol, KCP, and Morris should be enough to beat these depleted rosters.

Toronto (No Lowry, Vanvleet, Hood, McCaw, Watson, Harris)
Cleveland (No Sexton, Love, Drummond)
Orlando (No Vucevic,Gordon, Fournier)
Charlotte (No Rozier,Hayward,Ball,Monk, Wahington)

Charlotte was missing 5 of their top 6 scorers...There's no way in hell this game should've been 91-90 late in the 4th.....Okay, we won the game, but I'm going to temper my excitement.

Our next 5 games are against:

Boston
Utah
Utah
Dallas
Dallas

If we can win 2 of those games, then I'll get excited.

The Brooklyn win was a very good win.
And the Knicks loss was a very bad loss

Ya'll realize Drummond was out for an extended period and then missed a couple of games right when he came back? It's gonna take him a bit to be consistent.

Team playing .500 ball while missing Bron and AD and and other guys missing games and breh talking about he not getting giddy over these wins :camby:
Yup, I was expecting them to lose a lot of these games. I'm hype as hell as all I wanted is for this team to not fall down to the 7th seed with AD and Lebron out. The schedule is soft as hell to close the season after the next 4 to 5 games. As long as they don't fall to the play in tournament I'm happy.

I’m conflicted, because on the one hand I prefer the higher seed but on the other hand if it’s gonna take until a few games before the playoffs to get Bron and AD back then how advantageous is it really to have a middle seed when we need to get Bron and AD back in rhythm? Also, wouldn’t we rather face Utah or Phoenix in the first round instead?

It’s actually a win/win situation imo. If we hold serve then home court and all that shyt, if we get a lower seed then we get a few extra games to get things sorted out and then face much weaker opponents out the gate. :jbhmm:

I'd rather not take the risk of the play in tournament. Plus I think having them rest after coming back will be better in the long run before a deep playoff run.

LMA retired (hope his health is well and congrats on the career)

As much as it was cool to see Drummond play well...a fully healthy Nets squad would have had way too much spacing with Aldridge.

On the one hand Drummond is definitely playable as the Nets would probably go back to DeAndre Jordan. On the other hand I dont see him scoring as easily on Jordan as he did Aldridge.

He needs put back and rebounds.
We don't need him to score any other way for the most part
