With Avery gone I think Rob basically HAS to resign KCP. Lakers can afford up to 12m per year.
After that, Lakers will be up against the hard cap and will only be able to sign minimum vets. Bring Gasol in, or another good post defender, and this is a great offseason

It's a big loss...Rondo was our 3rd best player in the postseason and he defended Harden better than anyone on the team
And for all of Rondo's defensive shortcomings, he's still better than Caruso
