Lol next season we might lose all our bigs. We might need a whole new front court and to find shooters. No one is talking about that. Bringing in Drummond might have fukked us good. Trez will go looking for a bigger payday. Morris will look for a bigger payday and the max we can give is 10 mill and I’m not sure he’s worth that with his slump. Bubble Morris sure this one? Hell no. Then Gasol who we have treated like shyt will retire or go overseas. Drummond? He’s just shyt and will look for bigger offers but then again the way he’s playing who would give it to him. Kuz will be our only “Big” left and we’d need to trade him to find some shooters.
I think they just pick one to throw the bag at which unfortunately will probably be Drummond. He's still around the same age as AD and they'll likely use the excuse that he needs more time in the system and he'll be better going forward. This is going to be interesting what they do with the team next year. I don't see them paying both Caruso and THT as they'll both get solid offers from other teams. The Caruso question.

They fukked up not adding more shooting at the deadline. They've struggled with shooting all season and its something that could have been addressed. If they didn't want to go all in for Lowry, guys like Fournier, Powell, PJ Tucker, Cousins, Terrence Ross, Hood were available.
All that shooting wouldn't make a difference with AD and Bron out hurt. Need creators or someone that draws doubles to create those openings and Lakers are lacking in those areas.

Lebron ankle sprain probably as bad as mine. shyt gave me a bone spur and I still have issues. Haven't even tried to ball since it happened 2 years ago. :mjcry:

I just hope since he's an elite athlete and has great health care that he can hold on for the rest of the season, and the time off after will help improve it. :to:
Damn son I feel for you. I had a small fracture in my ankle that gave me bone spurs after. Some days I'd be fine and others after anytime on my feet had the throbbing sensation in the ankle. Eventually had surgery to get them removed and took me like a year and a half to feel right on it after that.

There is no bag to throw on a big. Only person we can pay will be Morris and that’s 10 million because we have his early bird rights. We’ll have only the tax payer MLE which is like 5 million. Will Drummond accept that, I think not. We really messed up with the Drummond signing making basically all our bigs pout. Would of been fine with just signing Jones for the rest of the season.

So what I'm seeing is that if they don't resign Schroeder they can sign him for around $10 million which I think he could get more in free agency.

Frank Vogel says the Lakers are hoping to keep Andre Drummond long-term
So, unless the Lakers renounce their rights to Schröder or trade Kentavious Caldwell-Pope or Kyle Kuzma in the offseason, they can’t offer Drummond more than the veteran’s minimum exception. Even if they cleared the room the necessary to sign Drummond to the full, $10.1 million non-taxpayer mid-level exception

TYRONE GA!
This team did the right thing by letting Green walk...fukk that dude. Wes Matthews was a terrible signing. We all know about the Dwight debacle. No need to dwell on that. Bringing in Trez And BenMac were solid moves. They should have tried to bring back Rondo AND Cousins when they were available via waivers. I haven't given up on Drummond yet. Gotta let him play with the whole team.

We been sliding but we should know by now we weren't going to win alot of games with Lebron out...add in AD...Caruso at times...now Shroeder. Its ugly. But I aint throwin the towel in on our chances just yet.

Hawkset offered Rondo 2 years for 15 million. He woulda been a fool to turn that down.

I hope Lakers don't pay much attention to the standings and pay more attention on actually getting better. No matter who they face they gonna get washed if they don't tighten tf up.
