Lol...Lakers in 5

Lebron wasn't Lebron (feel out game- 13 shots in 36 min)
AD was passive
We shot 7 for 26 from 3 pt range
Missed 11 Free throws

And only lost the game by 9 pts

Lakers in 5

Lebron has already checked out, basketball isn’t his focus/passion anymore, he’s not getting any more rings. This flopping, injury stuff is the excuse that will be used and that he already accomplished bringing a Championship to LA. When he’s attending tequila events before games and tweeting and asking what’s the best gaming chair hours before a game, the passion for basketball is gone. He has lots of outside ventures he’s more into.

He had a good run.

And AD isn’t a dog, too soft, sporadic great games. All downhill from here for the Lakers

Ayton was looking like Duncan in 05 out there. :snoop:
Just imagine if Ayton actually had post moves or knew how to face up off the dribble? He's Clint Capela tier when focused.Big man version of Andrew Wiggins. He'll probably put up 8 pts & 5 rebs next game. His heart pumps kool aid.AD should be ashamed getting out hustled by that dude.

plenty of blame to go around. Lets start at the top. Vogel was completely out coached. Should have played less Drummond...more Gasol and Trez. BenMac should have got more PT. And we never took advantage of Suns players getting into foul trouble in the first half and the Suns being in the bonus in the 4th quarter. When we did go to the line we didnt shoot very good. Bron missed 3 in a row at one point. We didnt try to exploit CP3s shoulder and at times gave him way too much attention. AD needs to get his big ass in the lane and be more aggressive. Bron needs to control the game more and make plays. KCP didn't do his job by hitting open 3s...he missed 6 of em. Ad missed 4 of em....Wes missed all of em. Terrible rebounding...way too many second chances. Too many easy layups. Kuz was invisible. He needs to move without the ball more.
That said we were still in the game in a feel out game on the road. And the Suns played just about as good as they're capable of playing. So the Lakers gotta watch some tape, make some adjustments and its Get Back Gang in Phx on Tuesday.

I honestly think he’s not 100% and he knows it as well. Can’t really say that he doesn’t care anymore when before the injury he was still playing great ball and being in MVP conversation.

His fastball is attacking the rim at an elite level. Not that thats stripped away he's gotta find other ways to contribute. He loses confidence in his jumper easily. Which makes today weird because he was actually shooting it well at the start.

Now to be fair Bron looked meh those 6 or 7 games during the bubble before the playoffs after that long layoff. So maybe its the same thing over again where he really needs to ramp up his body. He was playing great before Hill's fukkery.

I think you're jumping the gun. He was in the MVP race before he got injured. He's injured and older I think that's what's going on. Hopefully he can get it sorted out soon.

the ether
Anyone know why Gasol is in the doghouse like for real? He’s like our second/third best 3 point shooter. Davis can play the 5 against Ayton and when they bring in Saric, Gasol can come in. Not like Saric is super athletic. Those bench lineup Vogel trots out with Lebron is ridiculous. No shooters at all. Caruso, THT, Kuz and Trez.
And he's by far the best defender at the 5 too. Completely ridiculous that they're playing Trez/Drummond instead of him.

Except Duncan actually had to hit shots. I don't think Ayton took a shot outside the restricted area all game. Defense on him was straight ass.

Foreal. I just can’t get over how bad this nikka Drummond is on defense. nikka been in the league almost a decade the fukk was he doing all this time:why:

Bron and AD been going against this dude for all these years and EATIN comfortably against him. So they had to have known he was a low iq turnstile...yet they went hard for him:mindblown:

Bron and AD are some comb of injured/checked out. It's going to be up to guys like Kuz, Drummond, Schroeder, Caruso etc. to win a few games this series to wake them up.
