Of course, this is the coli and no one trusts women. If that's your #1, you're right for trying to help take care of her, you obviously love her if you gave her a credit card. But this is certainly a learning and TEACHING moment. She learns, from this point on, not to fukk with the emergency funds for non- emergencies. Be stern and solid in that, and keep that card away from her for a good long time.

I will also say, you're a better man than me, I would have never done that. but you gotta do what you feel is right. Just be smarter or give her a prepaid with like 3 or 4 hundred on it. and if she blows it, and has another emergency... Well guess what, another teaching moment. Don't bail her ass out.
