I have no friends so that is why I frequent this board so much. I am on this board upwards to 6 hours a day on average. I may not even participate in those 6 hours and simply fantasize about what it would be like to live as some of you do. Whether it be RamDam, the young hotshot wealthy kid from an Ivy League school. Or bdirty, the intelligent man that has become a successful entrepreneur, taking his destiny in his own hands. I even fantasize about being SkeetsInternal, with his brutal honesty and high success rate with women, delivering eloquent dialogue that pique the interest of numerous women on dating sites and most likely aiding him in the business world with his mastery of speech. In truth, I wish I was these men. I wish I had all of their qualities so that I may too find happiness or a purpose. But alas, I find it hard trust people because there have been many times in the past where what I thought were close friends ended up abandoning, betraying, or using me, leaving my confidence level at an all time low. I one day dream of being a very powerful man with a lot of followers and influence. I've began on my journey of becoming a modern day savant, inspired by the Coli users and reading about Otto Lidenbrock in the Journey to the Center of the Earth. With Lidenbrock's vast amount of knowledge, determination and bravery, he did make it to his goal to the center of the Earth even though he was faced by many perils. The center of the Earth proved to be his treasure, his secret, his very own world. This book made me even tear up from the triumphant story of a man's genius and determination which in turn made him a god of his own realm and a god amongst his peers in the scientific community. I want to be like Otto Lidenbrock, RamDam, bdirty, and SkeetInternal.
My body is currently weak but my spirit is not! Being inspired and being involved in epic games with world-saving stories makes me a stronger person overall. Adding Skyrim to my collection will allow me to discover my own "center of the Earth" like Otto Lidenbrock! I will be an intelligent scholar like RamDam by reading! Reading scrolls to learn powerful spells and reading books to increase my physical ability! I will be an entrepreneur like bdirty by becoming a blacksmith and master enchanter, and sell my goods to the people of Skyrim! Last but not least, I will be like SkeetsInternal with a high speech level, influencing the people of Skyrim to become life long friends, and to aid me in battle. My superb social ability will also allow me to find a good wife that will marry me and live happily with me in Skyrim!
