You don't need a study to recognise that providing a poor family with more removes certain stresses and uncertainty.

Remove those stresses, they are more likely to have patience and engage with their children which will stimulate brain activity.

Studies like this are needed because there are people in world who will deny logic until they are presented with overwhelming evidence.

In this situation the results meet the expectations. Most people wouldn't need a study to consider how wealth will have an impact on interaction with children during core stages of their development, so it is laughable when someone is trying to dismiss the findings as propaganda.
