I have doubts about how good this is going to be.

Gladiator 1 had Richard Harris, Russell Crowe and Joaquin Phoenix in it.

That casting was phenomenal and they are what carried the original movie. They're not going to replicate that with Gladiator 2. Even more so with the expectations people are going to have.

I'm having a hard time picturing what this movie will look like. Gladiator was definitely one of a kind, in terms of performances and success. Ridley has definitely had his misses, but he is still capable of making a good flick, I think. Guess we'll see. Cuz if this one is ass he may finally be done.
