Worth going dolo for a matinee?

Alright, just left the theater.... its probably a good 7/10.

Denzel did his thing, as expected.

Overall story/plot was okay, I can see why folks say the ending felt rushed.

There is a reenactment of a battle that takes place in the colosseum...and it didn't make sense at all, when you see it, you'll know what I'm talking about.

So yeah, anyone you see saying this movie is a 6 or a 7 is probably on target with their review...not bad, not great

it's in the trailer, you can talk about it. people saying "they actually did flood the coliseum," which frankly seems impossible, but even if that's the case, what the fukk did they use to transport live sharks in?

movie is definitely a 3/5 though, you're right on that. i can't really tell you anything i disliked, but i also can't really tell you anything i really liked. it's fine. if i had the patience to look back on all the legasequels, it's probably in the upper tier, which isn't hard.

I fukked around, got too high and dozed off for a good 40 mins I caught the gist tho and it was straight but Denzel's character clearly was NOT That kiss scene is 100% true. You know the exact scene and the dialogue/film cuts off abruptly. shyt made me think how "The Gay Agenda" is literally is old as the Roman Empire. One of the 'heights' of so called Civilizario but look at all the fukkery.



My brain was NOT tryna accept the fact that the main emperor twin isn't Robert Downey Jr

i'm gonna be in the extremely rare minority of not liking the character, but the dude had fun. i imagine you're gonna see a lot of "Denzel stole the movie" takes, which is more of an indichtment of how you can't really think of the main takeaway from this movie otherwise.

The first half of this movie was so boring. I kept nodding off in the theater.

The second half is much stronger, but a lot of the story beats feel rehashed from the first one or weaker versions of the first one. The two twink emperors don't have the same charm as Joaquin Phoenix did in the first one, and their character arcs aren't as fleshed out as his.
