Piper Chapman - Wikipedia
The whole series is based of the memoir of a white woman with the same name. Yeah, it seems like you're doing some class A gaslighting at this point.
It's very much an ENSEMBLE cast with many protagonists. A protagonist is the leading character or one of the
major characters in a drama, movie, novel, or other fictional text.
Uzo has won Several Emmys for her role as a black lesbian on the show. You asked for a major television show that featured black lesbians. I provided one. You also haven't provided any evidence that black gay male characters are overrepresented in media. Just an opinion. You seem to be the one gaslighting.
And as far as your assertion that black women don't champion bm/ww relationships of their own. The black viewership of Scandal topped out at 40% while Empire which featured a bm/ww as its only interracial couple had a black vieership of 60+%.
You also mentioned black women boycotting Red Tails. 49% of the audience was women. Dunkirk a similar film only had a 40% female leadership.
This thread needs more facts.
Anyway if we could get back to the topic of black women's unaddressed hypocrisy in aggressively pushing for already over represented black male lgbt representation for us, while advocating for the also over represented heterosexual BW/WM interracialism for themselves.
You haven't proven any of these points.
Where is the data showing that black gay male characters are overrepresented?
Where are black women advocating for bw/wm relationships in media.
Again your premise of advocating is faulty.
In fact many of the black male characters that black men champion are involved in relationships with non-black or mixed raced women. Atlanta, Power, Blackish, Insecure.
